Now, while we don't mind sharing a few ideas with everyone (a special shout out to our competitors visiting today looking for ideas) we choose to be fairly tight-lipped about some of our approaches — sharing them only with clients and qualified prospects.

It's been said (and I know for a fact I've said it) that aside from air, food, water and shelter the only other things you really need in life are Duct Tape and WD-40.
If it moves and shouldn't — use the Duct Tape.
If it should move and doesn't — use the WD-40.
Because WD-40 has so many uses and solves so many problems, it's a great fit when your goal is to position your company as problem-solvers. Or, if you've already positioned yourself in that respect, WD-40 is a great way to reinforce that position.
There When You Need Us
If your company is a response-type company such as fire and restoration services, insurance, plumber or electrician, WD-40 is a great way to keep your name in front of your prospect. Every time they reach for your custom, branded WD-40 (which is there when they need it) they'll see your name. And with the appropriate imprint, you can reinforce in their mind that you too, will be there when they need you.
Multiple Services
If your business offers multiple services, WD-40 is a logical tie-in. For instance, say you own a Towing or Wrecker Service. Your custon, imprinted WD-40 can remind customers that in addition to towing services, you offer roadside tire changing, lockout service and refuel services.
We'll add more ideas as time goes on. But for now, think about this. How many business cards are handy when you need them? Seriously, is the business card of the towing company in your glove box? Where's the number or business card for your plumber, electrician or mechanic?
Now, if you own a can of WD-40 ... do you know where it is? If your house or business is like mine, you can probably find your can of WD-40 faster than you can find your car keys or the TV remote:) Point is, whether your prospects, clients or customers keep your custom, imprinted WD-40 in their glove box, toolbox, garage, junk drawer or desk drawer ... they'll know from where to grab it when they want your number.
